What is TaoHooks?
TaoHooks is an independent Bittensor and Robinhood Chain interface. Discover active subnets, compare their economics, inspect your positions and stake through your native wallet.
Connect signals to actions
Watch hooks track subnet price, TAO reserves or emissions. Validator hooks monitor take. Allocation hooks compare a subnet’s share of your staked portfolio with a target weight. Stake hooks prepare an order for wallet review. Integration hooks POST matched events to your HTTPS endpoint.
Rules run once a minute while TaoHooks is visible. They are saved on this device with the latest 200 outcomes. A condition fires on entry and must clear before firing again. Re-arm resets its baseline. Missing or stale data never counts as a match. Browser notifications are optional; matches always appear in hook history.
Webhook receivers must support browser CORS and deduplicate the payload’s eventId. Retry delivery from history after an error. URLs remain in local storage; do not include secret credentials. Hook matches never sign transactions. Rebalance plans require individual order review, and final weights depend on fees and price impact.
TAO and alpha
TAO is Bittensor’s native asset. Staking into a dynamic subnet exchanges TAO for that subnet’s alpha and delegates it to a validator. Unstaking exchanges alpha back to TAO. Prices, price impact, fees and rewards change over time.
Connect a native wallet
Use a Bittensor-compatible SS58 account through Talisman, SubWallet or Polkadot.js. TaoHooks never asks for a seed phrase or private key. EVM addresses are different accounts, used in the Robinhood Chain workspace.
Robinhood Chain
Use an EVM wallet on mainnet (chain ID 4663) to inspect ETH, WETH and USDG balances and send transfers. Transfers are estimated and simulated before wallet review. Network activity covers the latest four blocks. The external Arbitrum bridge handles supported Ethereum assets; there is no Bittensor-to-Robinhood bridge or shared balance.
Review and execute
Select a subnet and validator, enter an amount and request a live quote. Review the expected output, estimated fee and price limit. Sign in your wallet. Orders disallow partial fills and confirmation waits for finality. Quotes expire after 60 seconds.
Strategy allocations
Choose up to eight distinct subnets and weights totaling 100%. Preview live quotes and sign an atomic allocation batch. Saved plans and watchlists are stored on this device. Repeat allocations require another signature; there is no unattended execution.
Data and coverage
Discovery uses finalized Bittensor state. Charts sample historical blocks from the configured archive RPC; missing history is shown explicitly. Portfolio values are spot estimates, not guaranteed liquidation proceeds. Activity shows four recent finalized blocks, not complete account history.
